The Tata Curvv concept car displayed at the Auto Expo 2023 served as a major design inspiration for the Nexon facelift. A sleek LED bar that runs over the bonnet, new split headlamps, and updated front and rear bumpers are some of the most visible modifications. New alloy wheels are featured on the SUV, although its exterior is largely unchanged from the previous generation. New LED tail lamps and a connecting bar on the tailgate are among the modifications to the rear.
The Tata Nexon facelift is anticipated to have new fabric, a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system, a two-spoke steering wheel with a digital display, and a revised gear lever inside the driver’s seat. The SUV might also get a redesigned air conditioning panel with touch controls above and below the toggle switches, as well as a digital instrument display.
Tata plans to debut a brand-new 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine for the Nexon makeover at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine, which can generate 123 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, is likely to be mated to both a six-speed manual transmission and a DCT system. Additionally, it is expected that the facelifted SUV would keep its current diesel engine from the previous version.
In the first quarter of 2024, Tata intends to introduce the 2023 Nexon. The redesigned SUV will be competing against vehicles like the Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite when it is released.
