After 26 innings, Shubman Gill of Team India defeated Babar Azam of Pakistan to take the top spot in the ODI batting rankings.
In the second one-day international, Team India was defeated by West Indies by six wickets. Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan (90 runs) put up a good stand, but the Indian middle order fell apart badly as they were bowled out for 181.

In the list of batsmen with the most runs after 26 innings in ODIs, Gill passed Babar with his 34-run innings. At the conclusion of the first 26 ODI innings, the Pakistani captain had 1322 runs to his credit.
Gill, though, completed 1352 runs. The list also includes South African Rassie van der Dussen (1267 runs), Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman (1275 runs), and England’s Jonathan Trott (1303 runs).

With an unbeaten half-century, Shai Hope took the lead as West Indies defeated India by six wickets in the second One-Day International to tie the three-match series in Bridgetown.
Keacy Carty (48 not out; 65b) proved to be a valuable ally for Hope (63 not out; 80 balls) as the pair combined for 91 runs (118b) for the fourth wicket to support their 182-run chase.
